Here are a few simple pre-workout tips to help boost your stamina and get the most out of your workouts:
Having a pre-workout strategy can be highly beneficial, but it’s not essential for everyone. Pre-workout supplements and techniques can enhance workout intensity and help you train at higher volumes, but they should be tailored to individual needs and goals.

Hydration

Proper hydration is very crucial for endurance as the body needs to have enough of it to provide it sustained energy. Drinking water at regular intervals can increase your performance while working out. Dehydration significantly impacts the endurance and performance of the body. It is important to drink plenty of water; aim for at least 16–20 ounces of water to be consumed 2-3 hours before exercise.

Pre-workout fuel

Carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats can provide adequate nutrition to the body as they act as primary energy sources. Try to have a meal before 3 hours of workout as it helps in preventing muscle breakdown. Intake of sea salt as pre-workout also helps in providing sodium to the body which helps in retaining the water balance and electrolytes in the body. This can prevent cramping and fatigue during exercise.

Warm-up

Muscles in the body can quickly become fatigued if the workout intensity is too high, so it’s important to give it a slow start to build the pace. It is important to maintain a steady pace while working out. Prepare your muscles for exercise by engaging in dynamic stretches. Start your workout with a low-intensity warm-up to raise your heart rate and blood flow to muscles.

Caffeine boost

Drinking coffee before the workout can give a huge boost to your endurance. Caffeine increases the alertness in the body and reduces the effort of the muscles making it easier to push through the fatigue.
With consistent effort and smart strategies, building stamina could become possible which can allow you to work out for longer. Prioritizing endurance helps maintain energy and achieve fitness goals over time.
