One person hospitalized after Moose Jaw motel fire

Firefighters were called to downtown Moose Jaw after a local motel caught fire on Friday night.

Just after 11 p.m., Moose Jaw Police say the fire department informed them of a structure fire at Capone’s Hideaway Motel.

The fire department was able to contain and extinguish the blaze, and one person was hospitalized for fire-related injuries.

No other injuries have been reported from the fire.

Moose Jaw Police say local firefighters are working with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency to investigate the cause of the fire.
