£30,000 “cloned” Ford pick-up seized by police on M40

The red pick-up was stopped near Wheatley, East Oxford, on the M40 road to London and according to officers, subsequent checks revealed that – despite being “cloned” – it was a stolen vehicle.
Vehicle cloning involves a criminal taking or copying another registration plate that resembles the car or in this case truck they have stolen.
The driver is assisting with enquiries and several people on social media were quick to praise the Road Policing team for recovering the vehicle, new versions of which start from around £28,000.
Over the past few days the unit also stopped a driver near Milton Common, close to Wheatley as well, for using a vehicle with cloned plates and driving without a licence.
